Fun, action and sporting challenges: From 3 July to 1 September 2023, the Achensee region offers a varied and exciting youth programme on land and on the water. Our young guests between the ages of 10 and 16 will be accompanied by a team of qualified supervisors who provide a safe and fun environment. Curious? Segway Tour into the Karwendel valleys
Today we explore the countryside on so-called Segways. Trendy, ingenious and eco-friendly at the same time, these two-wheeled vehicles can be steered in all directions simply by shifting your weight. There’s no need for an accelerator or brake pedal. Please bring your own lunch. Minimum age 12 years!

Canoeing at Lake Achensee
Paddle along the western shore of Lake Achensee in a canoe. Feel the fresh breeze in your face and discover hidden places. Learn to control your balance on the water or jump into the cool water in between. Besides the action, there will also be time to chill out. No wetsuits – please wear weather-appropriate clothing. Please bring swimwear!

Put on your safety harness and off you go! Try secured rock climbing at the newly built crag Achenseehof. Clamber up the 18-metre high wall and enjoy the fantastic view of Lake Achensee. Of course, the guides will provide tips and tricks for climbing. Please bring rain gear, a warm jacket and your own lunch!

Starting and heading off with the right paddling techniques, we will quickly cover the first few metres. Standup paddle boarding is both relaxing and a full-body workout. If you manage to keep your balance, you will not end up in the water. Wetsuits will be provided. Please bring swimwear and your own lunch. Good swimming skills are required!

Cost: EUR 25 incl. equipment
We ride down the river on tubes and take a break in a bay to jump into plunge pools. Who can negotiate the rapids without overturning? Who dares to jump from the rock into the deep pools? Equipped with wetsuits, helmets and life jackets, you will be ready to face any challenge. Please bring swimwear and sports shoes that may get wet and a second pair of shoes. Minimum age 12 years!

Participation requirements: Good swimming skills and appropriate fitness level for a hike of moderate difficulty are required today! The safety of our participants is our utmost priority! Are you sure-footed and unafraid of heights, but don’t fancy complicated knots or rope manoeuvres? Then you have come to the right place! Our experienced guide will provide the required equipment on-site and give you an introduction to the routes. You will start your adventure on the moderately difficult route where abseiling from low heights and traversing a suspension bridge will get your adrenaline pumping! Those who still have strength can try the more challenging route. Minimum age 12 years!

- Registration: Registration is required. Register no later than 17.00 on the day before.
Good to know
- Ages: All youngsters between 10 and 16 years old staying in the Achensee holiday region welcome to join. Children aged between 4 and 10 years can participate in our children's programme.
- Cost: Participation fees are payable upon registration at the information offices or online at the Achensee experience shop. The confirmation of payment must be handed over to the supervisor/ guide. Free cancellations are possible up to one week prior to the planned activity. Refunds due to injury or illness are only paid upon presentation of a medical certificate!
- Registration & group size: Registration is required. Register no later than 17.00 on the day before online at the Achensee experience shop. or by phone at the local information offices. Group size: maximum 8 people!
- What else is important: If the weather is extremely bad or if there are not enough participants (min. 2 persons), we reserve the right to cancel the programme at short notice. The organizer accepts no liability for accidents of any kind!
